Family Star team is gearing up to release the film on 5th April. As the movie release date is close by, they have decided to release their next single, Madhuramu Kadha, on the auspicious occasion of Holi. On 25th March 2024, the movie lead couple – Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, unveiled the song and also celebrated Holi with few fans at a special event.
Gopi Sundar has composed the song and Parasuram Petla is directing the film. After Geetha Govindam, Parasuram and Vijay are coming together for this family entertainer in the production of Dil Raju. Upon the song release, many people started calling it a “copy” as it “resembles” classic song – “Jiya Jale” from Dil Se.
AR Rahman composed the song based on popular raaga from Malayalam classical music and the song became a huge chartbuster. It earned cult classic status among listeners over the years. Now, the resemblance doesn’t just end with tune but instrumentation also has few similarities.
Earlier, Parasuram Petla and Vijay Deverakonda also received flak on their previous single release as the “wedding song” closely resembled, Okkadu film’s “Attharintiki Ninnu Ethukupothanu ga” song. Well, with the third single there is an issue of resemblance with Dil Se song. Seems like movie will be seen through “resemblance(s)” magnifying glass and makers need to be more careful, one feels so.
