Epic Ramayana by Allu Aravind set for major reveal on July 3

Indian cinema is gearing up for one of its most ambitious projects, Ramayana, a grand mythological film being co-produced by Tollywood veteran Allu Aravind and top Bollywood producers. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film has already captured the attention of fans across the country, and now it’s trending once again as a major event is scheduled for July 3.

According to reports, a massive promotional event will be held in Bengaluru, where the makers are expected to unveil a glimpse of the official title. The entire cast and crew will be attending, and videos of the stars travelling to the event have already gone viral on social media.

The film is being made in two parts, and the shooting for the first part is said to be nearly complete. Behind-the-scenes videos, including heartfelt thanks from lead actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Nitesh Tiwari to the team, are circulating widely online.

The star-studded cast includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The first part is planned for a Diwali 2026 release, with the second part expected to follow in Diwali 2027.

Producer Namit Malhotra shared that Ramayana is not just a story but a cultural celebration for Indians across the globe. He said the goal is to present the timeless legacy of the epic with the help of the latest technology, bringing nature, creatures, and war sequences to life like never before.

Director Nitesh Tiwari emphasised the responsibility of adapting such a sacred tale, stating that the film aims to preserve the soul of the original while delivering it on a cinematic scale. He added that the team’s mission is not just to make a movie but to create a devotional experience.

With such high expectations and a strong creative team, Ramayana is all set to be one of the most significant Indian films of the decade.
