Director Vasishta has cleared the confusion surrounding the release date of Vishwambhara, the upcoming fantasy film starring megastar Chiranjeevi. Speaking recently, he dismissed ongoing social media rumours and said the film’s release date will only be decided once he is completely satisfied with the final output.
Vishwambhara has completed all shooting work, including songs and talkie parts. The film is now in the post-production stage. But there has been no official word on the release date. While some fans speculated that the film might come out in August or September, others suggested December.
Vasishta responded to these rumours, saying, “I will announce the release date of Vishwambhara only after I feel the output is perfect. Until then, there’s no compromise. I, along with the producers, know what we are doing. I won’t hurry just because of outside pressure.”
He stressed the importance of quality, especially in visual effects. “I want to see my vision come to life properly. Once I’m sure of that, I’ll share the release date,” he said.
Vasishta also thanked Chiranjeevi for trusting him. “It’s a great honour to work with him on just my second film. I feel responsible to live up to that trust.”
From his words, it’s clear that the director has full freedom. There is no pressure from the producers or Chiranjeevi about the delay. Vasishta is working with a clear goal—to give fans a high-quality film, even if it takes extra time.
His first film, Bimbisara, was a huge hit, and now all eyes are on Vishwambhara. Though fans may have to wait a bit longer, they can expect a grand cinematic experience.
