Dhurandhar 2 Vs Ustaad Bhagat Singh: The last week has seen a big clash at the box office between Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar and Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. While there were many other films were supposed to be released in this window, but were purposefully pushed to other dates in the coming months to not coincide with Dhurandhar. But Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s makers have anyways released the film and here are the metrics.
Dhurandhar 2 Vs Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Opening Day Collections
Dhurandhar: The Revenge started the collections in an impressive way with paid previews before the actual release. And due to the hype created by the first part, Dhurandhar, the second one has got good numbers. On the other hand, Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat singh is also one of the highest anticipated films.
On day 1, Dhurandhar: The Revenge jas collected around ₹130–140 crore worldwide.
Where as, Ustaad Bhagat Singh collected around ₹30–35 crore worldwide.
And by first weekend, the collections were very impressive. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has managed to hit 761 crore mark and by today, day 5, Dhurandhar collected around 60 crores and the whole goes around 850 crores plus and counting. Ustaad Bhagat Singh has collected around 62 crores.
When compared, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is leading at the box office with gripping storyline and engaging twists and turns and with Ranveer singh adding depth to the story. Ustaad Bhagat Singh did not reach the expectations but fans liked the film.
