Tamil star Dhanush is winning hearts in Tollywood once again. After making a strong debut with Sir, he has now scored another hit with Kuberaa, directed by the ever-talented Sekhar Kammula. The film, which also stars Akkineni Nagarjuna in a crucial role and Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, was released on 20 June to high expectations, and it has more than delivered.
Kuberaa has been receiving a great response from both critics and audiences. Dhanush’s emotional and powerful performance has struck a chord with Telugu viewers, proving once again that language is no barrier for talent.
To celebrate the film’s success, the team held a grand event in Hyderabad, with a very special guest, Megastar Chiranjeevi. His presence came as a pleasant surprise, but fans were quick to remember his close bond with Sekhar Kammula, whom he recently honoured for completing 25 years in the industry.
One of the most talked-about moments from the event was when Dhanush arrived and, upon spotting Chiranjeevi, respectfully touched his feet, a traditional Indian gesture of respect. Chiranjeevi, clearly moved, pulled him into a warm hug and later praised his brilliant performance in Kuberaa. The touching exchange has since gone viral online.
Fans were also excited to see Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna sharing the same stage, a rare and delightful sight for Telugu cinema lovers. Photos and videos from the event have flooded social media, with many calling it one of the most wholesome success meets in recent times.
