NTR’s highly anticipated action drama Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, is set for release in just a few hours, sparking significant excitement among fans. Every new update about the film is fueling anticipation, and in a recent interview, music composer Anirudh Ravichander shared some interesting insights, further raising expectations.
Speaking about his experience working on the film, Anirudh revealed that he was surprised when he was offered the opportunity to compose the background score for Devara. “I was amazed at how well the film was made. It’s a brilliant action drama, and composing the background music for such a project allowed for some exciting experiments,” he said. Anirudh added that 95 percent of the re-recording work was completed overseas, with the intention of delivering a fresh experience to the audience. He went on to describe the cinematic quality of the film, comparing it to Hollywood blockbusters. “Watching Devara will give you the feel of watching films like Avengers or Batman,” he noted, emphasizing the film’s impressive production values and the significant role music plays in enhancing the overall experience.
Anirudh also spoke about the film’s wide-ranging appeal, noting that it blends action, drama, emotion, and intensity. He expressed confidence that the audience would have an extraordinary experience in theaters. “I’m looking forward to watching the movie on the first day, and I’m happy to attend any theater in Hyderabad with Koratala Siva to experience it with the fans. I hope they enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed making it,” he said.
Devara is set to release on September 27 on a pan-India scale. The film also marks Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in Telugu cinema, with NTR taking on a dual role. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as the film’s antagonist. The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and is expected to deliver an action-packed, emotional, and musically rich cinematic experience.
