Well-known comedian Ramachandra, who entertained audiences with his humour in films such as Venky, Dubai Seenu, Anandam, Loukyam, King and Sontham, is currently facing severe health challenges. The actor, fondly remembered for his role alongside Ravi Teja in Venky, has been confined to bed after suffering a paralytic stroke.

Recently, a YouTube channel visited the actor at his home to check on his health. During the interaction, Ramachandra revealed how the situation unfolded. “Around 15 days ago, I attended a demo shoot for a friend. Suddenly, I felt pain in my leg and arm. I returned home, thinking it was minor, but soon my blood pressure shot up. I later discovered through a CT scan that I had a brain clot, which led to paralysis. Since then, my left hand and leg have stopped functioning. Doctors advised complete bed rest for two months, along with regular treatment and physiotherapy,” he shared.

Comedian Ramachandra admitted that the cost of treatment has drained his savings. While the Movie Artistes’ Association extended some financial aid, he is still struggling to meet the rising medical expenses. “All my money is gone. Doctors say I need to continue physiotherapy and treatment, which requires more funds. I hope someone comes forward to help,” Ramachandra said.

Expressing his pain, the actor also mentioned that no one from the industry had reached out to him so far to enquire about his condition. His statement has sparked concern on social media, with many fans expressing sadness over the plight of someone who once brought them joy through his comedy.

Fans and well-wishers now hope the film fraternity will step in to support Ramachandra during this difficult time. Whether the industry comes forward to assist remains to be seen, but the news has already struck an emotional chord with audiences who grew up enjoying his performances.
