The second week of eliminations on Bigg Boss Season 9 has been completed. Although the makers film both the Saturday and Sunday episodes in advance to avoid leaks, news about the eviction has already spread online.
In the first week, Srishti Verma was the one to leave the house. She could not connect with the audience, and they voted her out early. This week, seven contestants were nominated. Until Friday, many believed that Priya Shetty would be eliminated.
Priya has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. Housemates and viewers felt she was deliberately starting arguments and disturbing others. Along with her, Srija also faced criticism, as most of the loud fights in the house seemed to involve either Priya or Srija. For this reason, fans expected Priya to be shown the door in week two.
However, there was a twist. Instead of a female contestant, a male contestant had to leave. To everyone’s surprise, Manish, one of the commoners who survived the earlier “Agni Pariksha” test, was evicted.
Until recently, Manish was considered a strong player in the Owners’ team. He had started understanding the game better and was even trying to bond with the Tenants. Meanwhile, the weekend episode of Bigg Boss also brought a major twist in the format. Nagarjuna switched the roles of Owners and Tenants. From now on, those who were Owners will live as Tenants, and the Tenants will take charge as Owners. Only Bharani and Ramu Rathod, who won their tasks, will continue as Owners.
With shifting teams and unexpected eliminations, the show promises even more drama in the coming weeks.
