The much-anticipated collaboration between God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster director Boyapati Sreenu has officially been launched, with their fourth film together titled Akhanda 2 Thaandavam. This project is a sequel to their massive hit Akhanda, and is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, while M Tejaswini Nandamuri presents this Pan-Indian film.
The grand launch took place today, with core team members and several special guests in attendance. M Tejaswini Nandamuri switched on the camera for the inaugural shot, while Brahmani sounded the clapboard, and Balakrishna himself delivered a powerful dialogue. Actress Pragya Jaiswal, who played the female lead in Akhanda, will return for the sequel and was present at the launch event.
The title theme of Akhanda 2 was unveiled by Nandamuri Ramakrishna, hinting at the spiritual depth woven into the storyline, with S. Thaman’s powerful score adding to the grandeur. Boyapati Sreenu has written a high-impact script, promising an even more commanding role for Balakrishna.
The technical crew is equally strong, with cinematography by C. Ramprasad and Santoshh D. Detakae, art direction by A.S. Prakash, and editing by Tammiraju. Shooting for this highly anticipated film will begin soon, with fans and movie enthusiasts eagerly awaiting what promises to be a monumental sequel.
