Arjun Chakravarthy, a sports drama starring Vijay Ram Raju, has been winning hearts ever since its release on 29 August. Directed by Vikrant Rudra and produced by Srini Gubbala, the film has already bagged 46 international film awards and is now enjoying a strong run at the theatres. Following its success, the makers organised a Thank You Meet where the cast and crew shared their joy.
Speaking at the event, director Vikrant Rudra expressed his gratitude to audiences and critics. “Everyone who has seen the film says it is amazing. The response has been overwhelming. But still, many people have not watched it yet. I request all of you to watch it in theatres and support us. Only with your encouragement can we make more good films,” he said. He also thanked producer Srini Gubbala for standing firm without compromises and praised the entire team for their hard work.
Lead actor Vijay Ram Raju, who dedicated six years to the film, became emotional while thanking the team. “This response makes all the struggle worth it. If my performance is praised, the credit goes to my director. Our producer carried the weight of this film for years, and I will remain grateful to him for life,” he said.
Actress Sija Rose, who made her Telugu debut with the role of Devika, called the film very special. “I feel lucky that my first Telugu film received such wonderful reviews. I thank the director and producer for this opportunity. I hope audiences continue to support us by watching it in theatres,” she added.
Producer Srini Gubbala shared that the reviews matched the team’s expectations and thanked the media, friends, and families in India and abroad for their support. Actor Dayanand Reddy, who played Rangayya, described it as one of the most special roles of his career.
