Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is set to release on October 10 across India. This pan-India film, produced by Lyca Productions, has already garnered significant attention. Notably, music director Anirudh Ravichander recently shared intriguing insights about the movie’s music and storyline, further raising the excitement among Rajinikanth fans.
Anirudh praised Vettaiyan for its powerful narrative, stating, “The story is amazing, and Rajinikanth has brought even more strength to it. Audiences will witness a new side of Rajinikanth that they haven’t seen before.” He emphasized that the film tackles real events and social issues, setting it apart from the superstar’s previous works. Anirudh also mentioned that Vettaiyan is unlike Rajinikanth’s last film Jailer, hinting at a fresh take for the iconic actor.

Rana Daggubati, who also stars in the film, echoed these sentiments. In a recent interview, he shared, “This isn’t a typical Rajinikanth movie. The cast of Vettaiyan boasts several notable actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, each playing pivotal roles. The strong ensemble is expected to add further depth and appeal to the film.
