The INDIAN Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh met with the makers of the successful film Amaran. The team, including actor Siva Kartikeyan, director Rajkumar Periasamy, and producer R Mahendran at his residence in New Delhi and congratulated by the Minister for their outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
Shri Rajnath Singh expressed his deep appreciation for the film’s portrayal of patriotism and the heroism of Major Mukund Varadarajan, as well as the Indian Army. He praised the film for its authentic depiction of the sacrifices made by the men in uniform and their unwavering commitment to the country. Amaran, which highlights the valor and dedication of Indian soldiers, has resonated deeply with audiences across the nation, and the Defence Minister’s praise further emphasizes the film’s powerful impact.
Shri Kamal Haasan, currently abroad, also sent his heartfelt appreciation for the film’s success. He thanked the Hon’ble Minister for the consistent support and cooperation provided by the Ministry of Defence and the Indian Army during the production of Amaran. Haasan noted that their involvement played a crucial role in ensuring the film’s authentic and respectful portrayal of Indian Army heroes.
The meeting was also attended by Vishwanath Ramaswamy, Founder and Director of Divo Movies, and Col (Retd.) Vinoth Saravanan, which added further significance to the occasion. The film’s success and the recognition it has received from prominent figures in the defence sector highlight its importance not only as entertainment but also as a tribute to the bravery of India’s soldiers.
