Initially, Shruti Haasan was announced as the female lead during the film’s launch. However, the latest poster reveals Mrunal Thakur in a key role, indicating that she has replaced Shruti. Sharing the poster, Adivi Sesh captioned it with an intriguing line: “You loved me… but you betrayed me… I won’t let go… This has to end.” Mrunal Thakur responded to the post by saying, “I let go… but I loved you with all my heart,” while extending her heartfelt birthday wishes to the actor.

Apart from Dacoit, Adivi Sesh is also busy with G2, the sequel to his hit spy thriller Goodachari. While the first installment was entirely shot in India, the team plans to elevate the scale for G2 by filming high-octane action sequences in international locations such as France, Switzerland, Poland, and Italy. The film is touted to be a massive project with an estimated budget of ₹100 crore, aiming to match international standards in terms of production and storytelling.

Additionally, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is expected to play a pivotal role in G2. With Dacoit and G2 in his pipeline, Adivi Sesh continues to solidify his reputation as an actor who chooses intriguing scripts and delivers compelling performances. Fans eagerly await both projects, which promise to set new benchmarks in their respective genres.
