Russia to Ban Gasoline Exports from April 1

With all the disturbances and resouces shortage everywhere due to the Iran and US war, Russia has now announced a ban on gasoline exports starting on April 1. This decision comes after considering the growing shortage of energy and fuel availability for the country.

According to the sources, the Russian government restricts the exports of gasoline with an intention to control the prices of domestic fuel. This country exported nearly 5 million metric tons of gasoline last year and it is around 117,000 barrels per day.

Due to the conditions after Ukranian attacks on Russia’s oil and fuel export infrastructure and it had to shut down almost 40 percent of its export capacity, this country is also facing 40% shortage of its actual and regular oil export capacity. Which makes Russia the world’s second largest oil exporter nation.
