VIT-AP School of Business (VSB), VIT-AP University is organizing two days Business and Innovation Fest InnoVITa 2k25 on 11th and 12th August. This event will feature a dynamic blend of formal and informal events, integrating creativity, strategic thinking, and entertainment. It is designed to provide an excellent platform for students from various universities and colleges to showcase their talent, business insights, and innovative ideas.
The inaugural function commenced with warm welcome by Dr. ArunKumar Sivakumar, Dean, VSB. Dr. Mohd Abdul MuqeetMaaz, the convener of the event gave an outline of the event. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. S.V Kota Reddy, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he highlighted the importance of such fests in nurturing leadership qualities, Showcase creativity and innovation, team spirit, build networks and enhance critical skills and practical skills among management students. He highlighted the achievements of VIT-AP university in research paper publications, patents granted and the funding support from the university in fostering innovation and building entrepreneurial talent.
The Chief Guest for the event Dr. Ameet Chavan, Director- IIEC, VIT-AP University spoke about the start-ups nurtured by IIEC and support rendered to ensure their success. He emphasized the need for innovation, adaptability, and ethical practices in the ever-changing business world. He encouraged students to use the platform of the fest to learn, collaborate, and showcase their talents.
Dr. Raghavendra, Associate Dean, VSB proposed the vote of thanks. The event will witness 12 diverse and engaging events spanning multiple business domains across two days.
