Stock Markets NSE hits 21,800 mark

Stock Markets continued the bull trend for 5th consecutive session on 28th December, 2023. Traders have started the session on a high and continued to trade in green for entirety. International Stock Markets also had positive gains and that helped Indian markets. Hence, BSE gained 371.95 points to close at 72,410.38 and Nifty gained 123.95 points to close at 21,778.70 mark.

BSE Sensex started trading high at 72,262.67 mark and then continued to trade between 72,137.45 to 72,484.34 range. Index for the first time crossed 72,400 lifetime benchmark in this session. Traders invested majorly in big stocks. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 72,410.38 by gaining 371.95 points.

Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,715.00 mark and it hit highest for the day at 21,801.45. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,678.00. Index once again started higher than the previous closing. At the highest, it has hit 21,800 lifetime highest benchmark. Nifty50 ended by gaining 123.95 points on 21,778.70.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.17 against US Dollar on 28th December 2023. M&M, NTPC, Powergrid, Nestle India, Tata Motors, ITC, Bharathi Airtel, HUL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Reliance shares in SENSEX30 index registered gains. Stock Markets look to end the year of 2023 on a huge note if the bull trend continues. Let’s hope that is the case.
