Stock Markets ended with mild gains on 12th June. Investors started off the session enthusiastically and it continued to trade in green for the first hour. But indices have oscillated between gains and losses throughout the session. Finally, markets ended with mild gains.
Going into the details, Investors looked circumspect waiting for US Federal Reserve announcement. They have decided to sell off their holds in several big stocks but other stocks balanced it out. Hence, big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 149.98 points to close at 76,606.57 and Nifty gained 58.70 points to close at 23,323.55 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading higher than previous closing at 76,679.11 and then continued to trade between 76,533.78 – 77,050.53. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading at 23,344.45 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 23,441.95. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 23,295.95.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.56 against USD on 12th June 2024. Power Grid Corporation Of India, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Ultratech Cement ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Coal India, Power Grid Corporation Of India, Eicher Motors, SBI Life Insurance Company, Tech Mahindra ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, Titan Company, Axis Bank stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Mahindra & Mahindra, Britannia Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer, Titan Company ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
