Stock Markets slightly recovered from huge losses

Stock Markets recovered slightly from previous session losses on 29th February 2024. Traders have invested in big stocks at their lowest. While there have been huge oscillations due to mixed results in International Stock Markets, big stocks did pull some investments. Hence, BSE gained 195.41 points to close at 72,500.30 and Nifty gained 31.65 points to close at 21,982.80 mark.

BSE Sensex started trading at 72,220.57 and then continued to trade between 72,099.32 – 72,730.00. Index started off on a good note but dipped immediately. Slowly, through major oscillations the index kpet trading in profits. With a nominal recovery, BSE ended the trading session at 72,500.30 by gaining 195.41 points.

Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,935.20 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,060.55. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,860.65. Index started off on a better note. And at its highest it again touched 22,000 mark but then ended without big recovery. Hence, Nifty50 ended by gaining 31.65 points on 21,982.80.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.91 against US Dollar on 29th February, 2024. IndusInd Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Powergrid Corporation, Titan, Asian Paints stocks have ended as top gainers. Tata Motors, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Hindustan Unilever stocks have ended as top losers. Stock Markets are continuing to face traders alternatively selling off at highest and investing at the lowest in big stocks.

BCCI excludes Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer from central contracts to make a strong statement
