Stock Markets recovered from Monday losses on 27th February 2024. Traders started off the morning hours of session flat and it continued to trade low & slow. By the mid-session, traders saw rally in big stocks and this helped them invest more. International Stock Markets did not have much effect. Hence, BSE gained 305.09 points to close at 73,095.22 and Nifty gained 76.30 points to close at 22,198.35 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 72,723.53 and then continued to trade between 72,660.13 – 73,161.30. Index has started slow and it traded flat in the opening hours. Mid-session, the big stocks saw good rally of investments from traders and recovered major losses of last session to hit 73,000 mark again. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 73,095.22 by gaining 305.09 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,090.20 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,218.25. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,085.65. Index did not start enthusiastically but slowly big stocks have attracted investments from traders. Major big companies have done well in the index, too. Hence, Nifty50 ended by gaining 76.30 points on 22,198.35.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.90 against US Dollar on 27th February, 2024. Tata Motors, TCS, Powergrid, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, Mahindra & Mahindra stocks have ended up as top gainers. Bajaj Finance, SBI, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, NTPC stocks have become top losers. Stock Markets recovered from losses but still it is long way to go for consolidation.
