Stock Markets rebound on 26th July with huge gains in both indices. Investors have benefitted with rally in blue chip stocks like Infosys, Reliance. Majority of IT stocks did well has most of them did better than anticipated in last quarter. At lows, the rally in these stocks drove such a considerable rebound.
In the session, global cues have been great and this helped investors to start off the session on a positive note. Most of the stocks have recorded huge gains and less number of stocks ended up in losses. Nifty50 has hit record all-time high before closing. Recovering, Big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 1,292.92 points to close at 81,332.72 and Nifty50 gained 428.75 points to close at 24,834.85 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading above previous closing at 80,158.50 and then continued to trade between 80,013.60 – 81,427.18. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading above than previous closing at 24,423.35 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 24,861.15. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 24,410.90.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.73 against USD on 26th July 2024. Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Tata Steel, Infosys and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Shriram Finance, Divis Laboratories, Cipla, Bharti Airtel and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Nestle India stock ended as Top Loser in Sensex. While Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and Nestle India ended as Top Losers in Nifty50. This week in Markets has been very unnerving to start off due to negative reaction to Union Budget. The Friday recovery has helped capitalisation to increase by Rs.7 lakh crores to Rs.456 lakh crores.
