Stock Markets maintained their gains on 13th June. Investors have started the session with positive gains over previous closing. Indices hit highest marks during intraday and then due to selling pressure, the gains have been limited. Hence, markets maintained their gains.
Going into the details, US Federal Reserve has announced that inflation has been under control. This helped BSE to hit 77,145 mark for the first time at its highest. But investors sold off some gains at the highest. Hence, big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 204.33 points to close at 76,810.90 and Nifty gained 76 points to close at 23,398.90 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading higher than previous closing at 76,679.11 and then continued to trade between 76,719.70 – 77,145.46. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading at 23,344.45 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 23,481.05. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 23,353.90.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.56 against USD on 13th June 2024. Mahindra & Mahindra, Titan, L&T, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Shriram Finance, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Divis Laboratories, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Titan Company ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Hindustan Unilever, Power Grid Corporation, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Hindustan Unilever, Axis Bank, Britannia Industries, ICICI Bank, and Eicher Motors ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
