Stock Markets continued to register major gains on 6th June, too. Investors have reacted to NDA forming government for third term in a positive way. The session started on a high and continued to trade in green throughout the day. Overall Capitalization of the firms listed in BSE has grown by Rs.8 Lakh crores to Rs.416 Lakh crores from Rs.408 Lakh crores in this session.
Going into the details, European Stock Markets have traded in green as European Central Bank is certain to cut interest rates. In 5 years, they did not cut down on the high rates due to growing inflation and now, they are almost certain to acknowledge things have been better. Hence, big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 692.27 points to close at 75,074.51 and Nifty gained 201.05 points to close at 22,821.40 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading at 75,078.70 and then continued to trade between 74,474.94 – 75,297.73. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading below the previous closing at 22,798.60 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,910.15. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,642.60.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.49 against USD on 06th June 2024. Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, State Bank Of India, Infosys, and NTPC ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance Company, Shriram Finance, and State Bank Of India in Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Hindustan Unilever, Asian Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra, Nestle India, and IndusInd Bank stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Hindalco Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Hindustan Unilever, Asian Paints, and Nestle India ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
