Stock Markets have ended registering marginal gains after hitting new life-time highs on 29th July. Investors continued the positive momentum of previous session during opening bell. Both of them started huge and continued to trade in green for most part. At the highs, many started booking profits hence, gains have been nominal.
In the session, global cues have been very positive and large stocks did well from the opening moment. But as they hit highest marks at 81,908.43 and 24,999.75 in BSE Sensex & Nifty50, respectively, investors booked profits. Hence, Big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 23.12 points to close at 81,355.84 and Nifty50 gained 01.25 points to close at 24,836.10 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading above previous closing at 81,679.65 and then continued to trade between 81,135.91 – 81,908.43. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading above than previous closing at 24,943.30 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 24,999.75. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 24,774.60.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.73 against USD on 29th July 2024. Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ultratech Cement and State Bank Of India ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Divis Laboratories, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Finserv and Ultratech Cement ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Titan Company, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Tech Mahindra and Kotak Mahindra Bank stocks ended as Top Loser in Sensex. While Titan Company, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, ITC and Kotak Mahindra Bank ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
