Stock Markets recovered from huge losses on 7th August. Investors started investing big stocks this session after continuous losses for three consecutive sessions. Global markets have recovered from losses propelling investors to keep investing. They avoided the general tendency to book profits and that helped in the recovery.
Going into the details. BSE Sensex started the session way above the previous closing. It continued to trade at the same level recovering over 850 points. Nifty50 has been able to start above 24,000 mark and sustain the same till the closing. Finally, Big indices of Stock Markets, BSE gained 874.94 points to close at 79,468.01 and Nifty50 gained 304.95 points to close at 24,297.50 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading above previous closing at 79,565.40 and then continued to trade between 79,639.20 – 79,106.20. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading above previous closing at 24,289.40 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 24,337.70. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 24,184.90.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.96 against USD on 07th August 2024. Power Grid Corporation Of India, Tata Steel, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki India, and Mahindra & Mahindra ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Coal India, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, and Power Grid Corporation Of India ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Indusind Bank, Titan Company, Tech Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, and Bharti Airtel stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Indusind Bank, Eicher Motors, Tech Mahindra, Britannia Industries, and Titan Company ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
