Stock Markets ended with mixed results on 11th June. Investors started trading in positive due to the gains in International Markets. But as the session progressed, investors did not continue trading with same enthusiasm and major stocks ended up in losses. So, the markets ended the session flat with mixed results.
Going into the details, Majority of Financial sector stocks have seen huge losses. While Sensex started higher than previous closing, slowly investors started selling off their holds. Hence, big indices of Stock Markets, BSE lost 33.48 points to close at 76,456.59 and Nifty gained 5.65 points to close at 23,264.85 mark.
In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading higher than previous closing at 76,680.90 and then continued to trade between 76,860.53 – 76,296.44. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading at 23,283.75 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 23,389.45. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 23,206.65.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.58 against USD on 11th June 2024. Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Ultratech Cement ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, and Maruti Suzuki India in Top Gainers in Nifty50.
On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, ITC, Reliance Industries, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. WhileKotak Mahindra Bank, Divis Laboratories, Asian Paints, Dr Reddys Laboratories, and Reliance Industries ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
