Stock Markets BSE ended with losses on 21st May

Stock Markets ended with mixed results on 21st May 2024. Investors have been circumspect during this session and they seem to have been waiting for the elections to be over to invest at a full fledge. Internationally also situations have not been perfect for investing. Total worth of companies in BSE has gone up to 5 trillion dollars, more than 4 Lakhs crores and in six months, the valuation has increased from 4 trillion to 5 trillion.

BSE to keep trading above 73,500 mark with few slips here and there, throughout. Even in Nifty50, big stocks saw investments and this index to post in good gains in this Stock Markets session. Hence, BSE lost 52.62 points to close at 73,953.31 and Nifty gained 27.05 points to close at 22,529.05 mark.

In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading at 73,842.96 and then continued to trade between 74,189.19 – 73,762.37. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,404.55 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,591.10. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,404.55.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.29 against US Dollar on 21st May 2024. Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Power grid Corporation, Tech Mahindra, NTPC shares have ended as Top Gainers. Nestle India, Maruthi Suzuki, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Hindustan Unilever shares have ended as Top Losers. Stock Markets could see some sort of recovery next session predict experts.
