Stock Markets maintained profits during an oscillation session on 04th March 2024. Traders have started investing in big stocks on 4th March’s session but they did not find encouraging factors. International Stock Markets have also did not help them in this regard. Hence, trading has been flat. BSE gained 66.14 points to close at 73,872.29 and Nifty gained 27.20 points to close at 22,405.60 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 73,903.09 and then continued to trade between 73,747.01 – 73,990.13. Index showcased major oscillations throughout the session with traders investing in small stocks and selling off big ones. The trend continued till the wee hours and BSE ended the trading session at 73,872.29 by gaining 66.14 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,403.50 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,440.90. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,358.30. Index started on a very positive note with huge gains. But traders have been over cautious and that resulted in major oscillations. Hence, Nifty50 ended by gaining 27.20 points on 22,405.60.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.89 against US Dollar on 04th March, 2024. NTPC, Powergrid Corporation, Reliance, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank shares ended as Top Gainers. JSW Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Steel, Infosys, UltraTech Cement shares ended as Top Losers. Huge oscillations and flat ending did not help Stock Markets to record major profits in this session.
