Stock Markets ended flat with gains on 20th March 2024. Investors have been circumspect during this session. International Stock Markets did not end with huge gains and investors did buy big stocks at their lowest. But it did not showcase huge gains. As a result, BSE gained 89.64 points to close at 72,101.69 and Nifty gained 21.65 points to close at 21,839.10 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 72,036.86 and then continued to trade between 71,674.42 – 72,402.67. Index started slightly higher than the previous closing. It dipped in the opening hours and mid-session, it started recovering and hit 72,400 mark too. With slight gains, BSE ended the trading session at 72,101.69 by gaining 89.64 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,843.90 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 21,930.90. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,710.20. Index started low but slowly investors showcased interest in big stocks. It recovered the losses and ended with slight gains. Nifty50 ended by gaining 21.65 points on 21,839.10.
