Stock Markets end third consecutive session with gains

Stock Markets continued to register gains on 15th February, 2024. Traders once again started investing in the big stocks at the lowest towards the end. International Stock Markets did not have considerable effect. But big stocks help Markets to recover and end the session in gains. Hence, BSE gained 227.55 points to close at 72,050.38 and Nifty gained 70.70 points to close at 21,910.75 mark.

BSE Sensex started trading at 72,061.47 and then continued to trade between 71,644.44 – 72,164.97. Index started enthusiastically over the previous closing. Mid-session, the selling pressure did force a big dip and it did fall by 400 points. But big stocks attracted investments at the lowest. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 72,050.38 by gaining 227.55 points.

Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,906.55 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 21,953.85. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,794.80. Index did start high and kept trading in the highs till the mid-sesion. Big Stocks did help the Nifty index to recover towards the end. Nifty50 ended by gaining 70.70 points on 21,910.75.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.04 against US Dollar on 15th February, 2024. Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, Powergrid Corporation, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank shares became biggest gainers. Axis Bank, ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle India, Sun Pharma shares became huge losers. Stock Markets ended the bad pattern and let’s hope this positive trend continues.
