Stock Markets have continued gains on 22nd December, 2023. After recovering from huge losses on 21st, Markets again registered gains. International Stock Markets ended with mixed results but that did not hamper traders, this session. Hence, BSE gained 241.86 points to close at 71,106.96 and Nifty gained 94.35 points to close at 21,349.40 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading high at 71,045.65 mark and then continued to trade between 70,713.56 to 71,259.55 range. Index held on to 70,700 and 71,250 range throughout the session. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 71,106.96 by gaining 241.86 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 21,295.85 mark and it hit highest for the day at 21,390.50. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,232.45. Index never fell below 21,200 level throughout the session. Traders kept trading flat in this index. Hence, Nifty50 ended by gaining 94.35 points on 21,349.40.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.33 against US Dollar on 22nd December 2023. Traders before Christmas kept investing in big stocks in this session. As Stock Markets will be closed for weekend and on Monday, traders might go for selling off their holds post Christmas. But for now, we can say that the markets have held on to their strong landmarks.
