Andhra Pradesh Govt Speeds Up Promotions, Orders Departments to Clear Pending Posts

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a key decision by speeding up the promotion process for the Andhra Pradesh government employees. It has issued orders to implement the adjustment process of employees along with promotions from tomorrow. The deadline has been set to complete the pending promotions in all departments by tomorrow. Special attention has been given to the recruitment of gazetted posts in all Heads of Departments (HODs) along with Commercial Tax Department. The government hopes to complete the process of promotions before the new Employment Order Act for Local Cadre Reorganization comes into force. With this, early steps are being taken to prevent seniority-related problems from arising in the future. In this context, the government, which has undertaken a special clearance drive, has made it clear that all departments should work in coordination and complete the process of promotions within the stipulated time.

Meanwhile.. promotions give a lot of excitement to state government employees. Improve performance. With the intention that no injustice should be done to them in this matter, after the coming of the coalition government, the e-DPC system was implemented. It has made the promotion process faster and more transparent. Due to this DPC, those who were supposed to get promotions in April and August got earlier in November and December. But, this is not happening at all levels, in all branches. Promotions are pending since two years in the Finance Department of the Secretariat, HVODs under it and Assembly. Employees complain that there is not a single department in the government where promotions are not pending. At this juncture, the government gave good news.
