No new year celebration is complete without a scrumptious spread of food. As we get into the groove of planning the perfect New Year celebration, let us not forget to take care of our bodies too. With the concept of healthy and sustainable living on the rise, many of us look for food options that are delicious and nutritious at the same time.

There are many nutritious ingredients that are easily available to all, which can be added into our food easily. One such ingredient are nuts. Nuts are popular as a rich source of protein and fiber. Nuts are also power packed with many vitamins and minerals and provide the body with the much needed omega fatty acids. Consuming even a small amount of nuts can be incorporated in multiple ways to whip up some lip-smacking dishes.

Try these easy steps and innovative recipes for 2023 celebrations:-

1.Chocolate Cake:-


  • Milk
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Dates
  • For Cake Batter
  • 1/2 Cup Oil or Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1/4th Cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Chocolate Spread
  • 1 Cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • A pinch Salt


1.In a mixing bowl, add the oil and sugar and whisk them together until light and fluffy.

2.Next, add in the curd, milk and the chocolate spread. Whisk them all together.

3.Sift all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt through a sieve. Add them to the bowl.

4.Mix all the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Be mindful not to overmix. The batter should be of a semi-liquid consistency.

5.Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pour the batter into the tray.

6.Bake for 40 minutes at 180° C. Sprinkle some chocolate dust on top and serve warm!

  • 50g Coconut Dust
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp pistachio powder
  • 70-80 g Condensed Milk


  1. 1.In a nonstick pan, lightly fry the coconut dust.

2.To this, add hemp oil and pistachio powder and mix them well.

3.Next, add in the condensed milk. Mix all the ingredients together to form a sticky batter.

4.Roll this batter into tiny balls.

5.Lightly dust them in coconut dust or dip them in chocolate sauce to serve!

3.​Banana and Strawberry Bread:-


  1. 4 Bananas
  2. ¾ Cup Sugar
  3. ½ Cup Curd
  4. ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
  5. 1 tsp Vanilla
  6. 1 + 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
  7. 1 tsp Baking Powder
  8. ½ tsp Baking Soda
  9. ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
  10. ¼ tsp Ginger Powder
  11. ½ Cup Strawberries (coated in 1 tsp of Flour)
  12. For the Crumble
  13. 5 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  14. ½ cup Almond bits
  15. 4 tbsp Sugar
  16. 2 tbsp Melted Butter


1.In a bowl, sift and whisk all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder and ginger powder together. Set aside.

2.In a blender, add the bananas, vegetable oil, curd, sugar and blend them together until smooth.

3.Add this blended mix to the dry ingredients and whisk together until there are no lumps. Add the strawberries and Fold them into the batter.

4.Next, whisk the ingredients of the crumble together so that they are mixed well together and have a coarse and crumbly texture.

5.Grease a 9 inch loaf pan with butter. Transfer the batter into it. Sprinkle the crumble on top.

6.Bake at 180° C for 45-50 minutes! Serve warm with tea or coffee!
