
During the change of season also brings with it some unpleasant ailments like seasonal flu, fever, cold, cough and sore throat, which calls for a healthy boost of nourishment to sustain the change. Here are some simple soups recipe, which are not just great for healing sore throat and treating seasonal colds, but they are rich in antioxidants that help in boosting immunity and resistance.
1.Mushroom Soup:-
Loaded with the goodness of vitamin D, mushrooms are great for boosting immunity and the addition of black pepper and ginger helps in healing fever and sore throat. To prepare this soup, wash and cut mushrooms and chicken with bones. Pressure cook these two ingredients with 1 inch ginger. Once done, remove the chicken and blend the soup. Add in the chicken to the soup along with freshly grated peppercorns and salt and enjoy.
2.Ginger Soup:-
To make this classic Ginger soup, take a pan and add in 1 tbsp ghee along with freshly grated 2 inch ginger and 4-5 garlic cloves, saute it well and pour 2 cups of tomato puree. Cook the soup and season with salt and pepper as per taste.
