Chief Minister Revanth Reddy vehemently denied the speculations about Bandi Bhagirath’s arrest and surrender allegations. “We will tell the facts as told by our police. If someone wants to surrender, they come to the house or to the police station and surrender. Also, if the police are found conducting a strict investigations on the road… is that called early surrender?” He asked. “KTR is acting like a judge and RS Praveen Kumar is acting like an Investigation Officer (IO). The government and the police have laws. When we receive a complaint, we file a case according to law. Even in sensitive cases like POCSO, we are acting methodically. We cannot stand on the road like them and talk like we like,” the CM said. Made an offer.
The Chief Minister dismissed the opposition’s allegations that there is a delay in the procurement of grain in the state. He explained that there was a shortage of porters due to the elections in West Bengal, and there was no negligence on the part of the government except for a slight disruption in transport. On this occasion, CM Revanth Reddy made it clear that the government is currently collecting grain at the field level and paying the farmers directly within 72 hours of purchase.
Revanth Reddy was furious that the opposition leaders were using the deaths of farmers for political gain and were doing ‘Corpse politics’. The leaders, who were silent during the previous government’s reign when people from the then ruling party were involved in drugs and other illegal activities, now criticize their government for making false allegations. The CM stated that they are personally supervising the ministers and collectors to solve the problems at the field level and are working responsibly for the people.
