Warangal Preeti, a Medical PG Student, committed suicide unable to take the targeted harassment by her senior, Saif. She told to her parents to help her and they have given complaint to police and college management. Warangal Preeti even called her mother before taking such a step, stating that seniors all have united against her. She felt completely alone and decided to take this step. Warangal Preeti has been brought to NIIMS, for better medical assistance but she passed away.
Police have announced that they have filed complaint on Saif and they will investigate without any partiality. Warangal Preeti has been harassed by Saif, by calling her names and stating that she has no brain. He demeaned her and tried to make her life living hell. Her father came in front of Media stating that Warangal Preeti did not get justice in-time. If the college management responded early, she would not have taken this step.
Her sister slammed Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for bringing a garland along with her. She stated that her parents wanted Warangal Preeti to become a big doctor and for that they have worked day and night. Minister Harish Rao, expressed his condolences for the family and remarked the incident as unfortunate. Warangal Preeti has been finding support from people and they have started agitating asking for immediate punishment to Saif.
