Munneru river and several other small canals have been filled with flood waters. The inflow has been so huge that people are finding it difficult to commute. Rains in Telangana have caused huge level of fear among the people.

Rains in Telangana have hit catastrophic level. Several areas have received more than 616mm rainfall in several hours. Rains have caused huge floods in several areas too. Munneru river and several other small canals have been filled with flood waters. The inflow has been so huge that people are finding it difficult to commute. Rains in Telangana have caused huge level of fear among the people.

Even Hyderabad has received huge Rains. Several low-lying areas of the city are currently under threat of flooding. Rains have caused havoc among the commuters in Hi-tech City, Madhapur, Financial Districts. The roads have been filled with pot holes and several areas have had traffic stoppages for hours. Hyderabad did not receive much Rains in June and July has compensated for it.

Musi River has started over-flowing. Usman Sagar, Himayath Sagar gates have had to be lifted. Due to Rains, Old City people are terrified about flooding. Officials have been monitoring carefully the old roads and buildings. GHMC has issued people to not step out unless it is necessary. From 29th July, experts are predicting the Sun to come out. Rains in Telangana have caused flooding in Godavari river. Now, officials are monitoring the water levels in the river, as well.
