The police officials in Telangana have tightened curfew rules. Only E-pass holders are allowed into Telangana. However, ambulances are exempted. The passengers from neighbouring states were denied entry during the curfew relaxation. As a result, passenger vehicles were stopped at the AP and Telangana borders in large numbers. There was a huge traffic jam for more than 5 kilometres at the borders.
Cyberabad CP Sajjanar said that the lockdown is being strictly enforced. On Sunday, he told the media that people should come out only during the curfew relaxation period between 6 AM-10 AM. Sajjanar said goods vehicles would only turn around at night and there would be checking for goods vehicles at check posts.
