IMD – Indian Meteorological Department has issued heavy rainfall alert for Telangana and Hyderabad. Telangana has received moderate to high rainfall in interior areas. Hyderabad has received huge rainfall on 23rd and 24th June. IMD has stated that for two more days Telangana will receive heavy rainfall. Even Hyderabad is looking at huge rainfall in major areas for two days. IMD has also stated that after these two days, Monsoons will be on break.
Telangana has been facing huge and extended heatwave till 21st June. From 22nd June, IMD has confirmed that Southwest Monsoon winds have completely entered Telangana. On 22nd June, they have entered Hyderabad city has well. Now, Monsoon winds have brought down temperatures in Telangana and Hyderabad. IMD has now stated that temperatures will gradually decrease to optimum in July.

As Telangana saw huge heatwave, IMD has asked farmers to be careful about flooding. While few weather reports have stated that rains won’t be that severe as the state see flooding. But IMD has asked people to be prepared for good and worse. Southwest Monsoon have covered 90% of India. But they have been delayed and India is looking for good rainfall this season.
After 62 years these two Indian Cities enjoy Monsoon same time!
