Hyderabad has been receiving huge rainfall from past one week. The forecast has been stating that the city will receive even more rains after a dry day. Hyderabad received huge downpour for an hour with huge thunderstorms on 24th July. During the evening time, Hyderabad got darkened by clouds and rain burst out. City had to put up with huge lines of traffic due to waterlogging.
GHMC – Greater Hyderabad Municipality Commission has asked people to stay indoors and call helpline numbers – 040-21111111, 9000113667. The city has received scaring thunder storms and people had to wait for hour to move. Most of the roads have been waterlogged and people could not move at all. Experts have advised Government to announce holidays till 27th July. According to experts, Hyderabad will receive such rains for two-three days more.
Telangana state has been receiving heavy rains. LPA moving from Kakinada has been cause of this huge downpour. Hyderabad might receive more rains and huge downpours in coming days. Students are advised to be watchful. Even employees are asked to be aware of the weather conditions. Major Hyderabad areas are waterlogged and it could be a problem for city to hold off the water dumped from skies in coming days. Be safe and be alert!
