Heavy Rains rattled Hyderabad with new heavy bands formed in the city. Rains have flooded city roads to maximum extent. The rains are too heavy for drains to hold on. Heavy Rains have suddenly taken away the weekend fun that Hyderabadis have been hoping to enjoy in July first week. Roads have become mini-rivers with huge dump of rain. Heavy Rains could continue all the night.
Experts have predicted rains in Hyderabad from 3rd July. But on 2nd July, Heavy Rains have lashed out on Hyderabad. Banjara Hills, Madhapur, Lingampalle, Jubilee Hills and major areas have already heavily flooded. Now areas like Begumpet, Panjagutta are all waterlogged. Heavy Runs might continue all night in the core city state experts.
Major city roads are waterlogged and traffic is not moving. Major number of people are waiting in their vehicles to move forward. Heavy Rains have been waterlogging the city from long time. Measures to avoid such waterlogging have been not fruitful. Heavy Rains are predicted further in the Monsoon season. We have to wait and see how Hyderabad Municipality will handle the problem further.
