Director Deva Katta has clarified that his upcoming web series Mayasabha does not support any political party. He said the show aims to tell a human story that rises above politics and personal loyalty. Set in the 1990s, Mayasabha is inspired by real events in Andhra Pradesh politics. It follows the journey of two political leaders who were once close friends but later became rivals. The story is based on the lives of late Chief Minister Y. S.
