The wedding documentary of actress Nayanthara has once again come under legal scrutiny. A new petition has been filed in the Madras High Court, claiming that parts of the 2024 Netflix documentary of Nayanthara, based on her wedding with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, include content that requires copyright permission. The documentary first stirred controversy when its trailer was released. It was alleged to include around three minutes of footage from the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which starred Nayanthara and was produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
