
Virat Kohli during the match of RCB vs LSG, at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, looked pumped up. From the moment he came on to the field, he seemed to be highly aggressive. He gestured to fans to be behind RCB. Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq entered into a scuffle on field. Mohammad Siraj showed aggression while he was bowling. Naveen-ul-Haq replied and Virat Kohli entered into the fight.
Naveen-ul-Haq said something in the heat of the moment. Virat Kohli in reply, showed him his shoes and took dirt out pointing at him. Post the match, he shook hands with everyone. But then, Naveen-ul-Haq while shaking again said something to offend Virat Kohli. Both entered into heated exchange of words. Faf du Plessis tried to calm both of them down. Kyle Meyers entered into a conversation with Virat Kohli. Gautam Gambhir, coach of LSG, intervened and took him away.

This made Virat Kohli say something in the heat. Gautam Gambhir also replied to it and both entered into a word scuffle. KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis, Amit Mishra, Glenn Maxwell had to separate each other. Virat Kohli has been seen later talking to LSG owner and KL Rahul about the issue. Match Referee after talking to the players fined Virat Kohli- 100% of match fees, Gautam Gambhir – 100% and Naveen-ul-Haq – 50% of their respective match fees.

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq continued their word battle on Instagram. Social media is divided with Virat Kohli fans supporting him and others’ Naveen. Young Afghan Naveen, has had a similar fight with Shahid Afridi at LPL. Now, he had similar war of words with Virat Kohli. RCB has released a video of match reactions and Virat Kohli stated in it about the scuffle, “If you can give it, you got to take it.” Naveen-ul-Haq on his Instagram story wrote, “You get what you deserve”. Virat Kohli posted a quote, “All you see a perception of truth not entirely true with a quote.” Both of them have made RCB vs LSG, a clash to remember for fans. Most of them are hoping to see them back playing on field during qualifiers or even at IPL 2023 Final.
