SunRisers Hyderabad have been a team with mixed fortunes at IPL. They peaked with David Warner and Jonny Bairstow entry into their side in 2019. David Warner has captained the side to a trophy in 2016. But SunRisers Hyderabad have decided to drop him from their squad with new captain Kane Williamson in 2021. Both the seasons 2021and 2022, they have ended up at the bottom. Now, SunRisers Hyderabad dropped Kane Williamson and appointed Aiden Markram as their new captain.
Kane Williamson with his cool nature played savior role and earned the title, “Kane Mama”, from Hyderabad Youth. David Warner got the name of “Warner Bhai”. SunRisers Hyderabad have become huge sensation in IPL with both of them performing at their best of abilities. But in 2021 and 2022, both seemed out of form. Hence, they have gone with new looking team retaining Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umran Malik. Current International sensation in hard-hitting Harry Brook and Mayank Agarwal have been added to SunRisers Hyderabad squad.

Well, with Aiden Markram as captain, the side is again looking at a foreign player to captain. This did hurt them in 2021 and 2022 seasons when the captain looked desperately out of form. SunRisers Hyderabad have now appointed Brain Lara as their Head Coach and Simon Helmot as Assistant Coach. We have to wait and see what he can bring to the table in this season.
