Australia have clean swept T20I Series against South Africa. Both the teams have started their practice for upcoming ODI World Cup CWC 2023. The tournament will start in October in India and both the teams have high hopes. Australia found an unlikely hero in their first ODI against SA. Substitute Marnus Labuschagne has fought against the odds with Ashton Agar to give them win. Australia won the match by 3 wickets.

In the chase, Australia lost David Warner(0) quite earlier. Captain Mitchell Marsh(17) got out with score on 38 and immediately after next two balls, Cameron Green got hit on his helmet. He had to be retired due to concussion. Josh Inglis(1), Travis Head(33) and Alex Carey(3) got out early reduced score to 72/5, Marnus Labuschagne has been brought in as concussion substitute and he started playing an innings of his life-time. Ashton Agar gave him great support at 113/7 from 16.3 overs. Both of them have put on 112-run partnership in 23.5 overs. Australia scored 225/7 in 40.2 overs and won by 3 wickets. Experts rated Marnus Labuschagne innings as one among best ODI innings and he got Player of the Match award for Australia.
