Stuart Broad has announced his retirement from International and all forms of cricket. He stated that he always wanted to go out on a high. Stuart Broad also stated that he always regarded Ashes 2023 as the pinnacle of Test Cricket. So, he took his 600th wicket and then announced his retirement. He has become the second pace bowler ever to take 600 wickets. Stuart Broad took the last winning wicket for England in Ashes as his last wicket ever.
The great cricketer is the son of Chris Broad. His father played predominantly as a batsman. Stuart Broad shared that he used to take his father’s bat and gloves. He used to practice and fascinate about being on the ground. Stuart Broad stated that he always dreamt about walking out in to the ground and performing in front of the crowd. He remembered that he likes people cheering and him contributing to the England victory.

He stated in an emotional way that such moments are precious. Stuart Broad remembered the tough moments and great things happened to him. The video released by ECB went on to show his 100th, 200th, 300th, 400th, 500th and 600th wickets. He stated that he shared great bond with everyone he played with. He stated that he would be associated with the game long. Stuart Broad might take up commenting on cricket like many of the retired English cricketers have done.
