Rishabh Pant has become the great savior in Test Cricket for Indian Team. After MS Dhoni retired from International Test Cricket, India needed a trustworthy batter in middle-order. Rishabh Pant has rose among the ranks in T20 Cricket but his major innings came in Tests. He won India matches in Australia, England with rear-guard action. Rishabh Pant has become an important part of Indian Test team.

His ODI and T20I form has declined worryingly but Tests have become his forte. India missed Rishabh Pant in WTC Final 2023. On a pitch that slighly looked tricky and assisted batting, he would have been much better than KS Bharat. His quick fire attacking innings could have supported Ajinkya Rahane in first innings as well. But the wicket-keeper batter got into a huge accident and took time to recover. He shared a video of him climbing the stairs without any assistance. Sharing the video, Rishabh Pant wrote, “Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes.”
The young cricketer missed out Australia Tests and important WTC Final as well. He is hoping to recover by ICC T20 CWC. He is ruled out for 50-over ODI CWC, as off now. Rishabh Pant is fighting hard to recover as soon as he can. He seems to be working rigorously to be back on cricket field. We also hope to see his baby steps to recovery will result us in soon experiencing big stage Rishabh Pant magic again.
Will Rohit Sharma remain Test Captain?
