RCB is having a very unique season in IPL 2023. At home ground they are finding ways to fail while at away games, they are coming on top. RCB has managed to shock everyone by defending low score, 126 against LSG. LSG lost few days ago to GT unable to chase down 135 score. KL Rahul stayed till final over but failed to chase. Naveen-ul-Haq(3/30), Amit Mishra(2/21), Ravi Bishnoi(2/21) bowled brilliantly for LSG.

Except for Krishnappa Gowtham, 23 off 13 balls, every batsmen struggled on the pitch. LSG batters tried for extravagant shots in powerplay and ended up with 38/5 in 7 overs. Marcus Stoinis(13), Krunal Pandya(14), Nicholas Pooran(9) got out trying for big shots. RCB bowlers Karn Sharma(2/20), Josh Hazlewood(2/15), Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva(1/20) restricted LSG from gaining any momentum. Amit Mishra(19) and Naveen-ul-Haq(13) tried their best. Glenn Maxwell(1/3), Mohammed Siraj(1/24) got wickets at right time for RCB. LSG managed to score only 108 and RCB won the match by 18 runs.

With this win RCB has become 5th team to have 10 points in this IPL. Punjab Kings, CSK, LSG, RR are on 10 points along with them. GT is way ahead of all teams with 12 points from 8 games. All others mentioned, have played 9 games each. RCB has kept their qualification chances alive with this win.
