Ex-Head Coach and Popular Commentator, Legendary all-rounder Ravi Shastri made strong comments on current head coach and legend Rahul Dravid. Ravi Shastri expressed his concern about Rahul Dravid taking breaks from time to time. He asked why would an International Team Coach need so many breaks.
Ravi Shastri said, “I am unable to fathom why would Rahul Dravid take these many breaks. Any Head Coach or Coach will have to spend their maximum time with players so that a connection would be formed between them. I would not need so many breaks. India Coach gets break during IPL and that should be enough”. Rahul Dravid has been given break from his duties for New Zealand Tour and VVS Laxman will be filling-in for him as Head Coach.
India lost ICC T20 World Cup Semi-Finals and owing to another unsuccessful campaign, Indian fans are unhappy with the way Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul have performed throughout the cup. They have also blamed Rahul Dravid for the new defensive approach of Indian Openers. Ravi Shastri comments at this time have become more potent, one might say.
