Rain has been playing spoilsport around the world. India and West Indies second Test match ended in draw has final day got washed out. England and Australia fourth Ashes Test ended in draw due to Rain. Now, even Sri Lanka and Pakistan second Test is also facing weather issues. Pakistan could not continue their innings on second day, due to Rain.
England has been notorious in facing Rain throughout the year. But Caribbean Islands, mainly, Trinidad receiving such heavy showers sprung a surprise. Even Sri Lanka during Monsoon season has been unsettling for tourists and cricketers. Rain has washed away a complete day for Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Now, both the teams have to hope that the next three days will see minimal Rain.

Dhananjaya de Silva scored 57 runs in Sri Lanka first innings score. The team got all-out for 166. Abrar Ahmed(4/69), Naseem Shah(3/41), Shaheen Shah Afridi(1/44) got wickets for Pakistan. Before Rain came down, Abdullah Shafique with 87 has set up the match for Paskistan for a huge lead. Shan Masood scored a handsome 51 and Babar Azam is batting with 28. If Rain doesn’t interrupt, next three days will be played with 98 overs per day.
